Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using Bilanceo. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these terms. These terms are effective as of the date you first use the Service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or accessing Bilanceo ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including workspace owners and partners.
2. Description of Service
Bilanceo is a shared expense tracking application that allows two users ("partners") to collaboratively log, track, and analyse their financial transactions within a private workspace. The Service is provided as-is, free of charge, and is intended for personal, non-commercial use.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, including your password and 4-digit PIN. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account. You must use a real, permanent email address — disposable or temporary email services are not permitted. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorised use.
4. Workspace and Partner Access
Each workspace is created by an owner and shared with one partner. The workspace owner is responsible for managing access, including revoking partner access when appropriate. Both users within a workspace have equal ability to add, edit, and view entries. Neither user may share workspace credentials with third parties.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to store unlawful content, attempt to gain unauthorised access to other workspaces or systems, reverse engineer or extract source code from the application, use automated scripts or bots to interact with the Service, or misrepresent your identity or affiliation. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
6. Data and Content
You retain full ownership of the financial data you enter into Bilanceo. By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to store and process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy for full details on data handling.
7. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability of the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any loss or inconvenience resulting from service downtime.
8. Limitation of Liability
Bilanceo is provided for personal financial tracking purposes only and does not constitute financial, tax, or legal advice. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including any financial decisions made based on data tracked in Bilanceo.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or a notice within the application. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
